Description:

Quinine Sulfate is a naturally occurring alkaloid with well-established pharmacological uses. Most notably, it is used as an antimalarial drug due to its effectiveness against Plasmodium species. In addition to its antimalarial action, quinine has muscle relaxant properties and is also used in the treatment of lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and certain nocturnal leg cramps.

Quinine is also recognized for its bitter flavor, which makes it a common ingredient in tonic water and other beverages.
